You have the proverbial embarrassment of riches to choose from: there's a lot to see and do in Riehen. From the museum, swimming pool and art trail to historic parks and vine-yards: the list of top ten attractions will make the decision a little easier for you.

The collection and special exhibitions of the Fondation Beyeler are famous the world over and are displayed in a unique museum building.

Located on the repurposed Berower estate, Kunst Raum Riehen is mainly dedicated to the works of regional artists.

The English-style park is a large, well-kept, green oasis with rare plants, extraordinary Wenkenhof villas and a cosy café.

The new natural pool (Naturbad) was designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron and is beautifully nestled in the natural landscape.

Rehberger Weg 24 Stops Fondation Beyeler Riehen Vitra

Extending over around five kilometres, this trail connects two countries, two municipalities, two cultural institutions – and countless stories.

Landschaftspark Wiese Riehen Erholung Foto Martin Graf

This recreational area straddles the border along the Wiese river. Here you can jog, skate, swim, stroll and enjoy the nature.

MUKS is a family museum to participate: the exhibitions connect the history of the village with the exclusive toy collection and the subject « Play».

Tierpark Lange Erlen Riehen Basel Kinder

With its range of local animal species, the park is a fantastic destination for families – shhhhh…it is free of charge.

Fahrradweg Fondation Beyeler Vitra Design Museum

The two excellent museums the Fondation Beyeler and Vitra Design Museum can easily be reached by bike.
