Wiese Valley Bike Track

A narrow-gauge railway ran here between Zell im Wiesental and Todtnau until 1967. Now a bike path, the route makes for an excellent ride into the Wiese Valley via Riehen or to Ba-sel. From Riehen, you can take the regional train (S6) to Zell. After arriving in Zell, the route leads past the must-see textile museum, Hebelbaus in Hausen, the town centre of Schopfheim and the ruins of Rötteln Castle outside Lörrach, before crossing the Swiss border in Riehen. The last section goes through the Wiese Landscape Park, with plenty of places to rest and dip your toes in the Wiese.
