Riehen's theater scene is small but fine. In addition to the chamber theater, which is well-known beyond the region, several active amateur theater groups as well as regular guest performances by outside ensembles enrich the offerings for lovers of the theatrical arts. The spectrum ranges from children's theater to plays for the general public to performances of sophisticated works.
