Riehen is music. Festivals and concert series are regularly held here – from classical music and jazz to pop. In summer, the expansive historic parks provide a beautiful backdrop to open-air events. The Landgasthof-Saal hall is well known for its excellent acoustics for classical music – and not only in the region. The 14th-century village church is likewise a charming and popular concert venue.

Hill Chill Festival

The small but charming open-air festival at Sarasinpark is usually held on the last weekend in June, featuring bands from Switzerland and abroad.
