Vitra Designmuseum

The company grounds of the furniture manufacturer Vitra are a veritable Eldorado for fans of furniture design and architecture. For instance, the Vitra Design Museum presents changing exhibitions in the fields of design and architecture, while the company's own fur-niture is displayed in the Schaudepot and in the VitraHaus. Another highlight is the site itself. Each of the production, exhibition and museum buildings was designed by world-famous architects. They include Frank Gehry, as well as Zaha Hadid, Herzog & Meuron, Alvaro Siza and Tadao Ando. Their works can be viewed on regular tours of the site.
