Naturbad Riehen

This attraction in Riehen is relatively new: the Naturbad – designed by Swiss star architects Herzog & de Meuron – was opened in 2014. The swimming pool is located at the edge of Wiese Landscape Park and blends in harmoniously with the green scenery. Here you swim in pure nature: the pool is run in an environmentally friendly manner and uses advanced technologies. For this trailblazing project, Riehen received the Gold Award for exemplary sports and leisure facilities from the International Olympic Committee and the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities IAKS.
