Augusta Raurica

Augusta Raurica features the most impressive Roman theatre north of the Alps – with preserved seating for 2,000 spectators – as well as the largest collection of silver of late antiquity, including plates, bowls and coins. The settlement also contains the picturesque Ro-man House with authentically recreated rooms and a park with animal species that were kept back in Roman times.
